Something new....when working on a new piece most times I play with the new medium.  In this piece I am testing out my new light box, while playing I got thinking about animation.  And thinking got me here.

March on Wall St April 30 2010

Earlier in the day about 100 members of the National People's Action occupied a midtown building housing JP Morgan Chase. Later they joined allies and converged on City Hall Park at 4pm for a pre-march Rally.

At the rally we listened to speakers from PSC, AFL-CIO, UFT, NAACP, GOLES, and other community groups.

All calling for good safe jobs, punishment for predatory lenders, and relief for those losing their homes to foreclosures.

The Retail Action Project gets angry when workers are not respected.

Assemblage of assemblages

Usually I photograph my assemblages in "natural" setting, outside, on the street, in nature preserve, on a mailbox, on a desk, or bureau, etc. They are always in the context of another space. This is my attempt to isolate them from physical space but with each other.

June 25 2009-Trans March Union Square

I really need to catch up on this blog. These pictures are from a Trans March the family participated in, from June 2009. Much delayed but still timely.

A short rally at Union Square, then marched across 14th st.

The Rude Mechanical Orchestra helped make the march radical and festive.

Stopped for another short rally on 14th St..then continued to Sheridan Square
